jellyfish - the world is merciless but beautiful

I got the idea to draw this after watching the episode of Shingeki No Kyojin with Mikasa's flashbacks. In this drawing, a human/jellyfish creature is seen visibly upset by the attack of a jellyfish by a bird. She is affected because the jellyfish is a creature she is related to and in turn this serves to remind her of her own mortality. However, as the event happens, one can see that there is a fish, presumedly dead, on her head. Is she wearing this fish as a fashion statement or is the fish's life so unimportant that she doesn't notice his placement as snow continues to accumulate at his place of passing? sorry guys got a little too into the complex machinations of the human psyche there.
